Product Exchange Policy
In the event that Ecowell India is unable to repair a product, we will offer an exchange based on the depreciated value of the product. The exchange cost will be determined accordingly.
Warranty Coverage
Ecowell products are covered under a one-year warranty from the date of installation
Water Condition and Pre-Treatment
If our technicians determine that the water quality is unsuitable for the product, they will recommend pre-treatment at an additional cost of consumer before installation. The service contract will be void if the water condition exceeds a TDS level of 1300 PPM, as specified in the user manual.
Mandatory Water Testing
For water softeners with a capacity of 15 liters or more, water testing from an approved laboratory is mandatory. Water testing is not required if a similar product is already functioning satisfactorily in the same area with the same water source.
Repair Warranty
Repairs are covered under a one-month warranty. If the product fails within one month of repairs, no service charges will be applied.
Annual Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (ACMC)
Under the ACMC, three service calls will be made during the one-year contract. Ecowell will replace all filters and the RO membrane, Except Body, Display Parts and PCB Board, once after the contract renewal to ensure smooth functioning.
Comments and Media
When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. If you upload images to the website, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as visitors to the site can download and extract this information.
Maintenance Contracts
Ecowell India offers two types of maintenance contracts for our products:
- Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)
- AMC is an extended warranty contract where services are provided free of cost, but parts are chargeable.
- Annual Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (ACMC)
- ACMC will have 4 visits annually
- ACMC is a more inclusive contract that covers both services and part replacements.
AMC/ACMC Rates : Rates for AMC and ACMC for installations beyond city or town municipal limits are specified separately in our service policy.
Warranty Terms
Warranty on all Ecowell products is governed by the Terms and Conditions specified in the user manual at the time of service and/or support. These terms are subject to change without prior notice. Products not covered under the warranty terms will receive service on a chargeable basis.
Transfer of Contracts
Customers cannot transfer any contracts or their rights and obligations without prior written consent from Ecowell India. Unauthorized assignments are considered null and void.
Warranty Activation
The warranty or contract is valid only after a customer order is executed or installed by Ecowell India.
Purchase for Personal Use
Customers indemnify that the purchase is for personal use only and not for resale.
Repair and Service Conditions
Ecowell India reserves the right to refuse repair or service in the absence of:
- Original proof of purchase or contract copy.
- Valid serial number on the product.
- Physical damage to products renders the warranty null and void. Repairs or service on such products will be chargeable and at the discretion of Ecowell India.
